Oh Where, Oh Where can the Candy go…

Halloween sure filled the pumpkins this year; and the pillowcases, and bags and pockets too. Not sure if our house has ever seen so much candy. And the kids loved every minute -- Piles of Starbursts everywhere.

Now that we are on the downward sugar-high-slide, the question becomes, how to get the candy out of your house? Here’s a thought. Take it to Decked, Princeton’s hip skate shop, drop it in their candy bucket and it will be spirited away to children who got no candy this year. Drop it off by this Wednesday latest. Ousting the candy and motivating your child to get on their skateboard? Now that treat’s all yours. Plus Decked will hand you a new skateboard sticker for your efforts. Who knows, you might get an advanced peek at their new Grenade ski line while you’re there.

As an aside, thank you to the family that gave out Mounds this year. I ate them all…
